I've heard so many good things about soy, what are some of the benefits
of soy in the diet? go
to top
Soy
foods contain a phytonutrient compound called genistein. Genistein
is thought to be responsible for a reduction in the rates of certain
types of cancer in people with high soy diets. As well, soy plays
an important role in reducing the chances of developing cardiovascular
disease by lowering blood cholesterol levels. Recently the U.S.
FDA has stated that soy foods containing a minimum of 6.25 grams
of soy protein per serving may carry a claim stating the relationship
between soy protein and a reduction in the risk of developing
heart disease.

How do the Dream Shakes help you to lose
weight? go to top
Lifestyles
Dream Shakes have been formulated as
meal replacements to be used as part of the Lifestyles
Dream Diet Program. Dream Shakes
are very nutrient-dense, meaning they provide high levels of nutrition
with fewer calories. As an example, a regular meal providing all
the protein, vitamins, minerals etc. found in Dream
Shakes would contain well over 500 calories. All this nutrition
can be found in the Dream Shakes with
approximately 225 calories. This reduction in calories combined
with proper nutritional intake as outlined in the Dream Diet Menu
Plan helps promote healthy weight management.

Why are some Lifestyles products formulated differently or
not available in some countries? go
to top
Government
regulations concerning food and food supplements vary greatly
from country to country. Although our goal at Lifestyles is to
make all products available in all countries, in some cases we
must alter the formulation to meet these regulations. In other
cases the regulations simply will not allow the product to be
made available.
8.
What would explain a new customer experiencing an uncommon
reaction such as headache, nausea, or diarrhoea after using our
dietary products? go to top
All
Lifestyles nutrition products are either food supplements or meal
replacements. As with any food product, a small percentage of
people may have a food allergy or food intolerance to a certain
ingredient used in that product. Common intolerances include lactose
intolerance (dairy products) and gluten intolerance (wheat, oats,
rye). If a person has an intolerance or allergy to an ingredient,
they should not consume that product. Also, many people are not
used to eating properly and their bodies may need time to adjust
to improved nutrition. These people may quite safely continue
to use our products, however they may find it necessary to reduce
their consumption of the products until their bodies have adjusted.
9.

Diabetics,
in consultation with their health care practitioner, eat a diet
